On the training and methodological seminar for the faculty, which was held on April 25, 2018 at Almaty Technological University, the problematic issues of the teaching methodology and the pedagogical skill of teachers were discussed as one of the fundamental factors for improving the educational process in the light of the requirements of the program “Rukhani zhangyru”.
The chairman of the NMS ATU, the pro-rector for UMP Aliev BA, the vice-chairman of the NMS ATU, the head of the UMU Akhmetova NK, the dean of the faculty of distance learning Medvedkov EB, the heads of the departments “Mechanization and automation of production processes” Usupov SS, “Accounting and Finance” Sultangalieva LS leaders of structural divisions and faculty ATU.
At a seminar one of the urgent topics was “Planning and conducting training sessions on the basis of the use of a competence approach”, Doctor of Science, Professor of the Department “Tourism and Service” Nadyrov Sh.M.
In his report, Sheripzhan Marupovich, with in-depth analysis and concrete examples, revealed the essence of key value-semantic, educational-cognitive, sociocultural and communicative competencies.
Having told about the algorithm for constructing a training session in the system of competence education, the audience was intrested by his speech where he was talking about the achievements of domestic and foreign universities.
Very interesting, instructive and promising was the presentation of the candidate of economic sciences, acting. associate professor of the department “Accounting and Finance” Makisheva Zh.A. Theme “Interactive methods of teaching in working with large groups” in the interpretation of Makisheva Zh.A. was multifaceted. Zhanna Anatolievna shared her experience in using the flip method, e-learning, guest invitation (guest lecture), dual training, large group work, design thinking, interactive teaching methods: clichés, interactive whiteboard, video scribing, craft video, quests, screencasts , presentations, scoring, case studies, etc.
Sheripzhan Marupovich and Zhanna Anatolyevna surprised the audience with their mastery of teaching, oratory and broad-mindedness.
Thanking the speakers who spoke, the prorector for URI Aliyev BA. expressed his further vision in terms of improving the work of the training and methodological seminar.
