Quality education is the path to success
The introduction and maintenance of the “Quality Management System for Educational Activities and Training of Specialists” on the basis of international standards of the ISO 9000 series contributes to the entry of Almaty Technological University (ATU) into the global scientific and educational space.
The scope of the QMS extends to educational activities for the training of personnel with higher and postgraduate professional education in accordance with state generally binding standards of higher and higher professional education in the specialties and areas in accordance with the field of licensing.
During the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 academic years, work was carried out to develop and implement a quality management system of the Almaty Technological University (QMS ATU). In the October 2005-2006 academic year, an international certification audit was conducted at ATU, according to the results of which the QMS Certificate No. 40047 dated October 27, 2005 was issued to the university by Moody International Certification (Great Britain).
The ATU QMS is maintained by the team in working order in accordance with the requirements of MS ISO 9001:2015 in relation to the current organizational structure of the ATU and is aimed at creating and maintaining conditions for high-quality training of specialists and, as a result, achieving high financial and economic indicators. It has become the object of regular analysis and evaluation by senior management, the basis for planning activities and developing personnel motivation systems.
In the period from December 2 to December 4, 2020, took place the re-certification of the quality management system. In 2021, was received a double Quality Management System Certificate No. 21.0075.026 dated January 18, 2021 from Russian Register the Certification Association and the international network of certification bodies IQNet.
In the period from 10 to 14 December 2021, took place an inspection audit of the quality management system of JSC ATU. In January 2022, we have received a double QMS Certificate No. 21.0075.026 dated December 24, 2021 from the Russian Register Certification Association and the International Network of Certification Bodies IQNet for a period up to January 17, 2024.
