The main objectives of the Science Management are:
- planning, organization, coordination and implementation of research projects (R&D) is being arried out in the ATU;
- establishment and development of external relations and cooperation with Kazakhstani and foreign partners in the sphere of science and education;
- protection of intellectual property, conduct of standard-setting and monitoring of metrological support of R&D;
- informational search, regulatory support and assistance in finding financing of fundamental, applied, innovatiove and other studies in the humanities, natural and technical sciences;
- increased participation of students inR&D; scientific and organizational support for raising the level of basic, applied research and technological development of the university scientists;
- increase in the volume of research carried out in the thematic plan of R&D;
- intensification of research activity of the structural units of the University;
- increase of efficiency of use of intellectual, material, financial, information and other resources educational and scientific structural subdivisions of ATU, as well as third-party agencies and organizations.
Activities of Science Managementis aimed at achieving the following objectives:
- organization of system of planning and reporting of budget and off-budget R&D, adequate socio-political, economic, scientific and technical terms;
- coordination of all budgetary and extra-university R&D departments within the basic research directions;
- monitoring of scientific and educational area of the University;
- ensuring the necessary conditions for the full use and development of scientific and technical potential of structural divisions of ATU and individual employees;
- extensive collaboration with University services to provide budgetary and extra R&D.
- establishing links with universities, research institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries in the field of scientific and production activities;
- assist in the development of international cooperation programs in the field of science and technology;
- organization of works on the development of projects and business plans to attract foreign investors;
- organization of international, republican and university scientific conferences, seminars and exhibitions;
- patent information and legal and technical support in the development and creation of new techniques, technologies and materials,innovative research, as well as the protection of intellectual property of ATU;
- creation of a qualitatively new experimental and production base of the University on the basis of modern equipment;
- information support of research teams and active promotion of their innovations on the market of intellectual services and high technologies;
- information search, regulatory support and assistance in finding financing sources of fundamental, applied and innovative research and others in the humanities, natural and technical sciences.;
- coordination of R&D of the University students;
- analysis, synthesis and dissemination of experience on the organization of research and NIRS departments and supervisors; promote increased research and implementation of results obtained in the educational process of ATU and production;
- inclusion of groups of scientific and scientific-pedagogical schools in the University into intense research activity for the main research areas;
- ensuring the participation of leading specialists of the University in the development of research programs, ordered and coordinated by the Ministries and Departments of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstani academies, enterprises and organizations of the Republic, various funds.
Department of scientific work organization
Department of scientific work organization.
Department of scientific work organization is a structural division of the University, which is part of Science Management, ensuring coordination of scientific work of scientific and pedagogical collectives and individual scientists of the University within the framework of the basic directions of scientific activity in accordance with the priority areas of science and technology.
The main objectives of the department are:
- scientific and organizational support for raising the level of basic, applied research and technological development of the University scientists;
- increase in the volume of research carried out in the thematic plan of R&D;
- intensification of research activity of the structural units of the University;
- more efficient use of intellectual, material, financial, information and other resources, education, research, innovation, social and other structural subdivisions of the ATU, as well as third-party agencies and organizations.
Activities of Department of scientific work organization (DCWO) are aimed at achieving the following objectives:
- ensuring the necessary conditions for the full use and development of scientific and technical potential of structural divisions of ATU and individual employees;
- organization of system of planning and reporting of budget and off-budget R&D, adequate socio-political, economic, scientific and technical terms;
- coordination of all budgetary and extra-university R&D departments within the basic research directions;
- inclusion of groups of scientific and scientific-pedagogical schools in the University into intense research activity for the main research areas;
- monitoring of scientific and educational area of the University;
- practice-oriented activities on raising responsibility of the heads of departments for conducting off-budget studies in the “second half” of individual plans of teachers’ teams;
- integration of DCWO functions in the overall structure of UN functions;
- extensive collaboration with University services to provide budgetary and extra R&D.
Department of information supportand patent research
The main objectives of DISPR are:
- protection of intellectual property, conduction of the standards of control and metrological provision of R&D;
- establishment and development of external relations and cooperation with Kazakhstani and foreign partners in the sphere of science and education;
- information search, regulatory support and assistance in finding financing sources of fundamental, applied and innovative research and others in the humanities, natural and technical sciences.;
- increased participation of students in R&D; identification of intellectual activity results of scientists, teachers, and employees of ATU with the prospect of commercial use, the implementation of the results of an experimental innovation of ATU in production and educational process.
DISPR activities areaimed at achieving the following objectives:
- patent information and legal and technical support in the development and creation of new techniques, technologies and materials, innovative research;
- creation of a qualitatively new experimental and production base of the University on the basis of modern equipment;
- establishing links with universities, research institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries in the field of scientific and production activities;
- organization of international, republican and university scientific conferences, seminars and exhibitions;
- assist in the development of international cooperation programs in the field of science and technology;
