Students of ATU specialties 5B072100 “Chemical technology of organic substances” and 5B060800 “Ecology” ATU March 28-29, 2019 took an active part in the XI Republican subject Olympiad held annually at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.
From the university were students of the 3rd year speciailtyin CTOS – Cherepanova Anastasia, SibatovDarkhan, Kuanyshev Asset, Sanat Aida, AbzhaparAkbota, Kairgaliuly Ulan and student of 3rd yearspeciality “Ecology” – AlpysbaiBekzhan, SalimzhanKabyl, KuanyshbekKudaibergen, KonyrbaevaDinara, RamazanovaZhanel, Halysapiev Said.
The team of chemists was headed by the senior teacher KozhaysakovaMadinaAmanovna, the team of environmentalists by the associate professor MoldagazyevaZhanarIspanovna and the senior teacher DzhakupovaInkarBorisovna.
Students from more than 20 leading universities of Kazakhstan took part in the RSO. According to the regulations, the Olympiad was conducted in two rounds: testing in the main disciplines and a quiz (for chemists), and protection of a scientific project (for environmentalists).
According to the results of the XI RSO, the “TehnoATU” team and the 3rd year student of the CTOS-16-2 SibatovDarkhan group in the individual competition occupied the HONORABLE THIRD PLACE. Team leaders and students were awarded Diplomas, and certificates were issued for active participation in the XI Republican subject Olympiad 2019.
