ATU congratulated its veteran teachers

ATU congratulated teachers – labor veterans and honored teachers for their significant contribution to the development of the university. At the meeting of veteran teachers with students and young teachers of the university, ATU Vice-Rector Baurzhan Nurakhmetov congratulated and talked about the work undertaken and the future prospects of the university.

According to him, today significant attention is paid to the development of specialization in light industry and the restaurant and hotel business, information technology: equipment, software, and laboratory classrooms are purchased with large funds.

– As we know, ATU has been included in the international rating of “Eastern Europe and Central Asia” for about 5-6 years, and this is a merit of all university teachers. This rating also includes Turkey, the Caucasus, and other countries of Central Asia and all of Russia. According to this rating, our university is in the top 25 universities, and this is a great achievement for us. Our today’s goal is to improve the position of our university, and this requires the collaborative work of our teachers. Now we are developing a postdoctoral program, which is practiced in many universities in Europe. She aims to support young PhD doctors. Our task is to stimulate and motivate them so that they do research work. It is also planned to form and create a university personnel reserve. We want to accept foreign students for semester and full training. To do this, we have opened training in English for foreign students in 10-educational undergraduate programs, he concluded.

Veteran of labor, teacher and professor Musurepbek Kurmanaliev delivered congratulatory words:

– Today we are all witnesses of how the systematic development of our university occurs, and I am sure that the potential of our university is very high. The implementation of the doctoral program is indeed an important component for improving the quality of research work.

According to veteran teacher Kuzembaev Kanat, ATU did not immediately become what he is now.

– We have all seen and witnessed how our university was developing. All the veteran teachers present here are living history, the 60-year history of ATU. Our main task is not only to give knowledge to students, but also to educate them as citizens of Kazakhstan with the qualities of patriotism and humanity. And all of us, teachers, should strive for this.

Roza Ibrasheva, Chairman of the Council of Veterans, Honored Lecturer of ATU:

– This day is dedicated to respected teachers, veterans, since you really deserve attention and love. You have invested your own experience and knowledge in young professionals. Many of us, who have worked at the university for more than 30 years, love our work and will continue it with pleasure,” she concluded.

The professor also thanked the administration of university in paying attention, and providing teachers with the opportunity to do their favorite work.

As the chairman of the Council of Veterans and Vice-Rector of ATU noticed, such meetings have been held for several years in a row. Of course, such events strengthen the link between generations, help to transfer the experience of veterans to young teachers, and contribute to the creation of a creative union of teachers and students.
