Since 2021, Almaty Technological University (ATU) has been issuing diplomas of graduation of its own sample.
The corporate pattern and the logo of the university are used on the front side of the diploma.
The ATU logo is based on the abbreviation " Almaty Technological University " in English. The book, the sun, the mountains and the date of foundation, inscribed in the letter U (UNIVERSITY), are designed to emphasize the values, mission and philosophy of the university.
The Almaty Technological University brand has a palette of two main colors: dark blue and yellow. Montserrat is the main font that was used in the current version of the corporate style.
The diplomas of their own sample indicate the university, the name of the educational program, the data of the graduate, the form of study, a place for the signature of the rector of the university is provided.
Also, each diploma has a unique identification number generated by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Each such number is stored in the NED (National Educational Database) and is linked to a specific student. This allows you to verify the authenticity of the diploma at any time.
The coincidence of the diploma numbers and their change is excluded. Each diploma contains protective signs, in accordance with the requirements of the law "On Education" of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Diplomas of higher education of their own sample are issued to graduates of Joint Stock Company "Almaty Technological University" on a free basis in accordance with the decision of the attestation commission.
The forms of inserts, appendices to the documents on the formation of their own sample are printed on special paper with degrees of protection, printed in a typographic way.
The content of the forms of inserts, appendices to the documents on the formation of their own sample includes:
1) the name of Joint Stock Company "Almaty Technological University";
2) the surname, first name, patronymic (if any) of the graduate;
3) the code and name of the educational program (specialty);
4) the degree awarded (if any);
5) the date and number of the minutes of the meeting of the attestation commission on awarding the degree (if any);
6) the form of training;
7) signature of the head of Joint Stock Company " Almaty Technological University ";
8) serial registration number;
9) date and place (city) of issue;
10) seal of Joint Stock Company " Almaty Technological University ";
11) the series and ordinal numbering for each type of document on the formation of its own sample, established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
12) QR code (for verification of the diploma).
The forms of inserts, appendices to the documents on education of their own sample are filled in the state, Russian and other languages.
The insert forms are filled out in three languages as follows:
1) in the line " surname, first name and patronymic (if any)" for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have completed training, they are written in full in accordance with the entry in the identity document (or its replacement document);
2) in the line "surname, first name and patronymic (if any)" of a foreign citizen are recorded according to the data of the foreign passport;
3) in the line "full name of the educational organization", the official name of the educational institution is indicated;
4) in the line "degree/qualification awarded" - the name of the degree/qualification awarded;
5) in the line "code and name of the specialty and (or) educational program", the code, name of the specialty and (or) educational program is indicated;
6) in the line "form of training", the form of training is indicated. When students master more than 50 % of the disciplines of educational programs with the use of distance educational technologies, the corresponding mark "with the use of distance educational technologies" is indicated in the line "form of training";
7) the form indicates the series and number of the issued diploma, the city of Almaty, the date of issue of the form: the number (digit), month (in words) and year (four-digit), the registration number of the form according to the registration log of the issued forms.
8) the date and number of the protocol of the attestation commission are indicated.
The signature of the head of Joint Stock Company " Almaty Technological University" in the forms is put down with a ballpoint pen with black paste. The seal of Joint Stock Company" Almaty Technological University" is placed on the place reserved for printing.
The appendices to the documents on education of your own sample in three languages are filled in as follows:
1) the surname, first name, patronymic (if any) are indicated in full;
2) the name of the disciplines, the number of academic credits – ECTS. Rating (in letter equivalent, in points and traditional (in words));
3) in the line "Final certification", the name, the number of academic credits - ECTS and the score (in alphabetic equivalent, in points and traditional (in words)) are indicated. If a comprehensive exam is passed, then the name of the disciplines included in the comprehensive exam is indicated and one grade is given;
4) in the line "Previous document on education", the name of the document on education on the basis of which this person was enrolled in Joint Stock Company "Almaty Technological University", the number of the document and the year of its issuance are indicated. If the previous document on education was obtained abroad, its name is indicated in translation into the state, Russian and other languages and the name of the country in which this document was issued;
5) in the line "Entered (a) in "and" Completed(a) training in", four-digit numbers are indicated, respectively, the year of admission and the year of graduation, as well as the full name of the educational institution that this person entered, and Joint Stock Company "Almaty Technological University", which this person graduated from.
6) in the line "Total number of mastered academic credits-ECTS" - the number of credits is indicated in numbers;
7) in the line "Weighted average grade (GPA) of training" - the average score for the entire training period is indicated in figures;
8) in the line "Professional practice", the name, the number of academic credits - ECTS and the score (in alphabetic equivalent, in points and traditional (in words))are indicated;
9) in the line "Number of credits of theoretical training" and "number of ECTS credits of theoretical training" - the number of credits of theoretical training is indicated by numbers;
10) in the line "By the decision of the attestation commission", the number of the protocol and the date are indicated in numbers;
11) the degree/qualification is indicated in the line " Awarded (assigned)";
12) in the line "By specialty and (or) educational program", the code and name of the specialty and (or) educational program are indicated;
13) in the line "The level of compliance with the national qualification framework", the level is indicated by numbers: for bachelor's degree-6;
In the column "During the training he passed the tests, intermediate and final exams in the following disciplines", the disciplines previously studied in all other university in which he studied, re-enrolled in the Return internal mail in the prescribed manner, are entered. At the same time, next to the name of the disciplines, all the educational organizations in which they were studied are indicated with appropriate footnotes.
The disciplines studied by the graduate in excess of the disciplines defined by the curriculum of Joint Stock Company "Almaty Technological University" for this field of training or specialty are entered with the consent of the graduate at his request.
Appendices to the documents on the formation of their own sample are signed by the head of the Return internal mail. The seal of the educational institution is placed on the place reserved for printing.
A diploma of higher and postgraduate education without an appendix to the diploma is invalid.
The diploma of postgraduate education of its own sample (master's degree) contains:
- name of the university;
- last name, first name, patronymic of the graduate of the magistracy;
- date and number of the minutes of the meeting of the attestation commission;
- code and name of the educational program;
- the degree awarded;
- the direction of training (scientific-pedagogical or specialized);
- signature of the head of the DoHaPE;
- serial registration number;
- date and place (city) of issue;
- the seal of the university.
The diploma of postgraduate education with the award of a master's degree has a series - MD.
The number of the diploma of postgraduate education is generated on the basis of information about the master's student entered in the National Educational Database.
Also, the technology of automatic identification and data collection and (or) a QR code is used in the diplomas of postgraduate education of their own sample.
