Educational achievements of students in all types of educational assignments and tasks are evaluated by the point-rating letter system of knowledge assessment in accordance with the state mandatory standard of education for the control and evaluation of knowledge.

Current control of students ' progress is carried out on each subject of the discipline and includes control of knowledge in the classroom and extracurricular activities. The assessment of current control (assessment of the admission rating) consists of assessments of current control in the classroom and assessments of boundary control (extracurricular activities).

At the current control of progress, students ' academic achievements are evaluated by the cumulative system and points are given for each completed task, and the final result of the current control of progress is summed up by the sum of all the scores received during the academic period.

Students who do not have a positive assessment of the admission rating in the disciplines are not allowed to the final control (exam).

The knowledge control system at ATU includes rating control (twice a semester) and final control (passing exams). Rating control on disciplines is carried out on 8 and 15 weeks of the academic period. Admission to the exams is carried out if you receive at least 50 points for each rating. The maximum score for each type of control is 100 points.

For each discipline, the final score is determined, which consists of the results of the rating control and the exam, with 60 % of the rating control (RK1+RK2 / 2), 40 % — the result of the exam.

If you receive an unsatisfactory final grade for a discipline, credits for the corresponding discipline are not counted.

АA4,095-100PerfectlyIt is put in the case when a full, detailed answer to the question is given, the set of conscious knowledge about the object is shown, which is manifested in the free operation of concepts, the ability to distinguish its essential and non-essential features, cause-and-effect relationships. Knowledge about the object is demonstrated against the background of understanding it in the system of this science and interdisciplinary connections. The answer is formulated in terms of science, presented in literary language, logical, evidence-based, demonstrates the author’s position of students
А-3,6790-94It is put in the case when a full, detailed answer to the question is given, a set of conscious knowledge about the object is shown, the main provisions of the topic are evidently disclosed; the answer traces a clear structure, logical sequence, reflecting the essence of the disclosed concepts, theories, phenomena. Knowledge about the object is demonstrated against the background of understanding it in the system of this science and interdisciplinary connections. The answer is stated in literary language in terms of science. There may be shortcomings in the definition of concepts, corrected by the student himself in the process of response
В+B3,3385-89                    GoodIt is put in the case when the students are given a full, detailed answer to the question posed, the main provisions of the topic are evidently disclosed in the answer there is a clear structure, logical sequence that reflects the essence of the disclosed concepts, theories, phenomena. The answer is stated in literary language in terms of science. Mistakes were made, corrected by the student with the help of the teacher
ВC3,080-84It is put in the case when a full, detailed answer to the question is given, the ability to distinguish essential and non-essential features, cause-and-effect relationships is shown. The answer is clearly structured, logical, expressed in literary language in terms of science. There may be shortcomings or minor errors corrected by the student with the help of the teacher
В-2,6775-79It is put in the case when a detailed answer to the question is given, the ability to distinguish essential and non-essential features, cause-and-effect relationships is shown. The answer is clearly structured, logical, stated in terms of science. However, minor errors or omissions were made, corrected by the student with the help of leading questions
С+2,3370-74It is put in the case when a complete but not sufficiently consistent answer to the question is given, but at the same time the ability to distinguish essential and non-essential features and cause-and-effect relationships is shown. The answer is logical and stated in terms of science. There may be 1-2 errors in the definition of basic concepts, which the student found it difficult to correct on their own
СD2,065-69Satisfactorily

It is put in the case when an insufficiently complete and insufficiently detailed answer is given. Logic and sequence of presentation have violations. Mistakes were made in the disclosure of concepts, the use of terms. The student is not able to independently identify significant and non-essential features and cause-and-effect relationships. The student can concretize the generalized knowledge, having proved on examples their basic provisions only with the help of the teacher. Speech design requires corrections, correction.

С-1,6760-64Put in the case when an incomplete answer is given, the logic and sequence of presentation have significant violations. Gross errors were made in determining the essence of the disclosed concepts, theories, phenomena, due to the lack of understanding of the students of their essential and non-essential features and relationships. There are no conclusions in the answer. The ability to reveal specific manifestations of generalized knowledge is not shown. Speech design requires corrections, correction
D+1,3355-59Put in the case when an incomplete answer is given. There is an illogical presentation. The student finds it difficult to prove. A lot of significant errors in the definitions of terms, concepts, characteristics of facts, phenomena. There are no conclusions in the answer. Speech is illiterate. When answering additional questions the student begins to realize the existence of a connection between knowledge only after the teacher prompts
DE1,050-54It is put in the case when an incomplete answer is given, which is a scattered knowledge on the topic of the question with significant errors in definitions. There are fragmentary, illogical presentation. The student is not aware of the connection of this concept, theory, phenomenon with other objects of the module (discipline). There are no conclusions, concretization and evidence-based presentation. Speech is illiterate. Additional and clarifying questions of the teacher do not lead to correction of the student’s answer not only to the question, but also to other questions of the module (discipline)
FX, FFX, F00-49UnsatisfactorilyThe rating “unsatisfactory” corresponds to a percentage of 0-49. This assessment is made if the student has shown gaps in knowledge of the main material provided by the program, has not mastered more than half of the program module (discipline), in the answers made fundamental errors, did not perform certain tasks provided by the forms of current, intermediate and final control, did not work out all the basic literature provided by the program.

Thus, the GPA is calculated for all passed disciplines, its result is the basis for transfer to the next course. Retaking the exam with a positive assessment in order to improve it for the entire period, or for the purpose of obtaining a diploma with honors is not allowed.

If you receive an unsatisfactory final grade for a discipline, credits for the corresponding discipline are not counted.

Retaking of the assessment, as well as positive and unsatisfactory, on examinations is not allowed. A student who has received an unsatisfactory final grade in a discipline must re-complete the course of study in that discipline, gain admission to the exam and pass it during the subsequent academic period or in the summer semester on a paid basis.

If the student has scored (including the summer semester) a GPA below the set level, he remains on a repeat course of study. Persons who have not entered into a contract and have not paid for a repeat course within one month after the beginning of the school year are subject to deduction.

Those who study under the state educational order, who are left for a second course, are deprived of the state educational grant for the further period of training.
