INFORMATIONAL LETTER
Dear colleagues!
Almaty Technological University would like to invite you to take part in work of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “GRAIN INDUSTRY: CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Academy of Natural Sciences of RK, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of RK, the National Academy of Engineering of RK, the International Academy of Energy Information Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Research Institute of Food Technologies of ATU IZTAYEV AUELBEK, to be held on February 28, 2020. Venue: Almaty, 100, Tole bi str., Grand assembly hall.
Scientists, experts, state and public figures, representatives of the relevant business-structures and mass media of the Republic of Kazakhstan, CIS countries and foreign countries are invited to participate in the Conference.
Sections of the Conference:
- Grain production;
- Postharvest processing and storage of grain;
- Grain processing products: flour, groats, bakery, confectionery and pasta, feed;
- Grain biotechnology: microbiology, deep processing and fermentation production;
- Economic issues of the grain industry.
Participation forms:
- Plenary presentation;
- Sectional presentation;
- Publication without oral presentation.
Conference Proceedings will be published after Conference with ISBN index.
Working languages of the Conference: Kazakh, Russian, English.
Submission of the reports:
Reports and short communications of no more than 3 full pages of the text (including graphic material) are submitted in an interactive form. For submission of reports it is necessary to register online via following link: http://register.atu.kz/ru_RU/%D0%BC/.
The report is attached by a separate file to the completed registration form.
The file name: a surname of the main author.
Requirements for report:
Typing is carried out in Times New Roman, Times New Roman KK EK, Format: MS Word 95/97/2000 / XP, portrait, font size – 14, single line spacing, margins on all sides – 20 mm.
The organization committee will send confirmation to the author within 5 working days after registration and receiving the report. After receiving confirmation the author should send scan version of registration fee payment to the following e-mail address: niipt@atu.kz till February 18, 2020.
Reports will be published in the Proceedings of the Conference and placed on the website of the University www.atu.kz.
The text of the report is drawn up as follows: At the beginning of the document, the UDC index is indicated in the upper left corner, then the next line in the middle in capital letters is the report name, the next line is the surname and initials of the authors and supervisors (if available) indicating the academic degree, place work, city, country, email address and from the next line – the text of the report. The text is original and cannot be edited. References are required.
Organizational questions
The organizational participation fee in conference for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan is 3000 KZT, for citizens of other states – 10 USD with the right of receiving one copy of printed Conference Proceedings.
Participation fees are accepted on the bank account with the indication of full name of participant and note “Conference-February 2020”.
Expenses during the stay in Almaty will be borne by the participants.

The materials which were sent without the copy of the payment receipt are not accepted to the publication.
Authors bear responsibility for scientific contents of the reports. Reports which do not satisfy to the conference topics (sections), submission requirements, or sent after the deadline, aren’t considered and are not returned.
Deadlines:
On-line registration and submission of reports – January 24, 2020.
Confirmation of accepting reports – February 7, 2020
Payment of participation fees – February 18, 2020.
