On April 12 – 13, in Almaty Technological Universityholds the II stage of the X Republican Subject Olympiad X Republican Subject Olympiad

• 5В072700 «Technology of food products»;
• 5В072800 «Technology of processing industries»;
• 5В073300 «Technology and design of textile materials»;
• 5В091200 «Restaurant business and hotel business».
The Aim of the Olympiad: disclosure of creative abilities, support of the most talented and gifted students; assistance in building the intellectual potential of students; involvement of students in solving scientific problems of our time; development of interest in scientific activity.
RSO is conducted in two stages:
1) the I stage – intra-university;
2) the II stage – the final stage, in the form of a full-time competition of teams and consists of three rounds:
1 round – presentation and protection of abstracts;
(on specialty 5В091200 «Restaurant business and hotel business» participants present business plans of the hospitality industry enterprises of any region of Kazakhstan);
2 round – laboratory and practical;
3 round – computer testing.
To participate in the II stage of the RSO, the university sends a team consisting of 3 (three) students (not including the leader) who took first place at the I (intra-university) stage.
The number of teams is no more than 2 (two) in the specialty (1 command with instruction in Kazakh, 1 command with instruction in Russian).
Participation in the Olympiad (travel, daily subsistence allowance, accommodation) is financed by the sending party. Team members must have their ID card, student ID card and business trip certificate with them.
To participate in the II stage of RSO, please fill in the registration form by the link before March 24, 2018 and attach the following documents:
1. Letter signed by the head of the university and the decision of the Academic Council of the university on the recommendation of the winners of the І stage for participation in the ІІ stage of the RPO;
2. Application for participation in the RSO in accordance with the annex;
3. Identity card / passport (copy).
The team may be denied entry to the competition application and, accordingly, participation in the Olympiad in case of:
– untimely submission of tender response;
– non-compliance of the application with the requirements of the Olympiad;
– incomplete or incorrect submission of the required documents;
– the disparity of participants in the announced specialty.
