KazMed Medical Center

KAZMED Medical Center at ATU - is a joint project between the university and the multidisciplinary medical center KAZMED, which has been providing a wide range of medical services to the public since 2006.

The establishment of the medical center at ATU has become an important step in developing the university’s social and educational infrastructure.

Students, faculty, and staff of ATU can now receive high-quality, timely, and accessible medical care directly on campus.

Main areas of activity:

The KAZMED Medical Center at ATU operates on the principle of comprehensive medical support, providing both preventive and therapeutic-diagnostic services.

The general practitioner conducts initial patient appointments, examinations, diagnostics, prescribes treatment, and refers patients to specialists when necessary. Consultations are available on all matters related to health, disease prevention, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Patients of the center have access to consultations with specialized doctors, including a physician, ENT specialist, gynecologist, neurologist, cardiologist, and other medical professionals as needed. All consultations are conducted in accordance with modern medical standards, ensuring an individual approach and comprehensive recommendations.

For patients requiring treatment under medical supervision, the center offers a day hospital where therapeutic and rehabilitation procedures are performed. This allows patients to receive necessary medical care without hospitalization - in comfortable conditions and under the supervision of a doctor.

The Procedure room provides all types of injections,  dressings, IV infusions, and laboratory sample collection. The physiotherapy room is equipped with modern devices for physiotherapy procedures aimed at recovery and rehabilitation after illnesses.

To ensure accurate diagnostics of internal organ conditions, the center provides ultrasound (US) examinations and electrocardiograms (ECG). Modern equipment is used to obtain detailed results and monitor changes in patients' health status over time.

The center conducts annual preventive examinations, health screenings, and vaccinations aimed at early disease detection and maintaining the well-being of students and staff. Medical certificates required for studies, internships, or employment are also issued here.

Special attention is given to monitoring pregnant women. The center provides consultations, preventive check-ups, laboratory tests, and ultrasound examinations, helping expectant mothers receive timely medical support.

The KAZMED Medical Center is equipped with modern instruments and devices that meet the standards required for medical institutions.

The facility includes an all the necessary tools for ultrasound machine, ENT workstation, physiotherapy equipment, sterilization units, and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The day hospital wards are furnished with ergonomic hospital beds to ensure patients' comfort during their stay.

High sanitary and hygienic standards are maintained throughout the center, while the atmosphere of cleanliness and comfort creates a psychologically pleasant environment for visitors.

One of the key advantages of the center is the provision of free medical services for students and staff of the university who are registered with the KAZMED Medical Center.

By registering with the center, students and staff can receive:

  • Primary and consultative care from a physician;
  • Examinations, laboratory tests, ultrasound (US), and electrocardiograms (ECG);
  • Medical certificates for studies or work;
  • Treatment in the day hospital;
  • Preventive check-ups and vaccinations.

This significantly simplifies access to medical care: all services are available within walking distance, on the university campus, without the need to visit external clinics.
The center also actively engages in health education: it organizes informational meetings, preventive campaigns, and lectures on healthy nutrition, seasonal disease prevention, first aid, and stress management during the academic period.
