The purpose of the methodological Department

  • Ensuring the quality of ATU educational activities based on effective methodological support for the implementation of the bachelor’s  EP.

Main tasks of the methodological Department

  • Formation of a unified strategy for methodological support of the implementation of the bachelor’s EP and regulation of EMW at ATU.
  • Methodological support for the implementation of the bachelor’s EP.
  • Analysis of the state and results of methodological work in the ATU, determination of directions for its improvement.
  • Informing the SS of ATU involved in the organization of the educational process on the issues of educational support for educational activities.
  • Consulting and explanatory work on the implementation of the requirements of the SMS HE RK, on the development of educational and program documentation, ENCD, training and methodological manuals and developments, other training tools and their testing.
  • Planning the release of TS educational publications.
  • Participation in the organization of exchange of experience on improving the educational process.
  • Assistance in conducting and summarizing scientific and methodological conferences and seminars organized on the basis of the ATU.

Functions of the methodological Department

  • Analysis of educational and methodological support of the educational process in all bachelor’s degrees and forms of education implemented by the ATU.
  • Development of regulations, guidelines regulating the educational and methodological support of the educational process.
  • Planning and organization of SMS work.
  • Generalization and dissemination of positive experience of ATU TS (organization of open, demonstration classes, master classes).
  • Analysis and evaluation of the work of departments and other SS ATU on the organization of educational and methodological support of the educational process and the introduction of new educational technologies in the educational process.
  • Preparation of educational and methodological events (meetings of EMA PMG, RSO, conferences, seminars, competitions, exhibitions, etc.).
  • Formation of an annual plan for publishing intra-University literature.
  • Development of proposals for improving the organization of methodological support of the educational process in ATU.
  • Study of the experience of organizing EMW of other universities of the RK and foreign countries in order to improve the organization of methodological support of the educational process in ATU.
  • Organization and coordination of methodological work of SS ATU (faculties, departments) in accordance with CTE.
  • Organization of work of faculties and departments for the development of EP, EMCD, CES, taking into account the requirements of CED, the requirements of the labor market.
  • Providing consulting and methodological assistance to departments in the preparation of the bachelor’s degree program.
  • Consulting the TS on EMW.
  • Methodological advice on the design of manuscripts of textbooks/manuals for publication through the SMS and EMA PMG.
  • Organization of examination of textbooks, educational and methodical developments, educational and methodical manuals on specialties/EP.
  • Study, generalization and introduction of new technologies and teaching methods, participation in the development of recommendations for improving the organization of the educational process, organization of conferences and seminars on HЕ.
  • Monitoring and attending open, demonstration and trial training sessions of TS.
  • Updating information on the ATU website.
  • Maintaining documented information on all issues related to the educational process.
  • Preparation of annual plans and annual reports (management analysis, QMS performance report, annual report).
