Information Technology Department

The Office of Information Technology (UIT) is a structural unit of the university and reports to the first vice-rector.

The management consists of the following divisions:

– Support and Training Department (SaTD)
– Technical Service Department (TSD)
– Communications and Video Surveillance Division (CaVSD)

Our university has created a modern information and telecommunication infrastructure that meets corporate requirements (fault tolerance, security, high performance, etc.). The external telecommunications channel provided by «Aspantelecom» LLP provides access to the Internet up to 2.5 Gb/s.

Within the university, there are 14 physical and 4 cloud servers that perform various tasks related to the educational and scientific activities of the university. The university’s personal computer fleet has 994 units, most of which are involved in the educational activities of the university.

All students, faculty and staff of the university are given the opportunity to use the university’s information and network resources from any computer and mobile device. Resources to which access is granted include the resources of the university’s e-library, e-learning and computer testing systems, the university information portal, the teamwork system, e-mail, file storage and information.

Our university has created a wireless access network (Wi-Fi). All students and teachers are given the opportunity to use this wireless network to study and work on their laptops and mobile devices. Wi-Fi is also available in all dormitories of the university.
