EP purpose

Preparation of highly qualified bachelors in the field of computer technology and software, capable of creating and applying software products, hardware and software of computer systems and networks in solving professional and social problems.

  • - shows social and civic responsibility in making decisions on the conservation and rational use of Kazakhstan's natural resources; - analyze the environmental safety factors of the biosphere at the national and global levels; - implements a strategy for the sustainable development of ecosystems and society
  • Applies knowledge of the fundamentals of economics, entrepreneurship, law, anti-corruption culture and financial literacy in professional activities
  • Develop efficient algorithms, analyze logical circuits, apply principles of Boolean algebra and formal logic to real programming problems
  • uses the methodology of search, accumulation, processing of scientific, technical and patent information; Conducts a patent search on the research topic; Uses sources of scientific and technical information; Uses regulatory documents for bibliographic descriptions
  • Design and develop systems for storing and processing big data. Develop desktop, mobile and web applications. Apply principles of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Use debuggers and profilers to analyze and optimize code
  • Optimize game performance (rendering, resources, code)
  • Develop games on game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot)
  • Develop embedded systems based on Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi
  • Design and analyze the architecture of computer systems.
  • Optimize the performance of the program code for a specific processor architecture
  • Web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS).Mail servers (Postfix, Exchange). Work with virtualization and containerization (VMware, VirtualBox, Docker)
  • Analyze the task statement and select appropriate AI methods

Information and communication technologies

Design and engineering activity:

  • determination of design goals, performance criteria, limitations of applicability;
  • system analysis of the design object, subject area, their interrelationships;
  • selection of initial data for design;
  • development of generalized variants for solving the problem, analyzing these variants, predicting the consequences, finding compromise solutions in conditions of multicriteriality and uncertainty, planning the implementation of the project;
  • assessment of the reliability and quality of the design object functioning;
  • calculation of ensuring conditions for life safety;
  • calculation of economic efficiency;
  • development, approval and release of all types of project documentation.

Production and technological activity:

  • technology for the development of objects of professional activity (information systems and networks, their mathematical, information support and software, ways and methods of design, debugging, production and operation of software for information systems); 

Organizational and managerial activity:

  • organization of interaction between the teams of the developer and the customer, making management decisions in the conditions of different opinions;
  • finding a compromise between various requirements (cost, quality, deadlines) both in long-term and short-term planning, finding optimal solutions;
  • assessment of production and non-production costs to ensure the quality of the design object;
  • organization of quality control of input information.

Research activity:

  • study and analysis of scientific and technical information, domestic and world scientific achievements in the field of the food industry

Operational activity:

  • organization of the implementation of the design object into trial operation;
  • organization of the implementation of the design object into industrial operation.

Software products, hardware and software of computer systems and networks, platforms of information technology infrastructure of enterprises.
