EP purpose

Training of highly qualified software personnel in the field of software engineering, qualified developers of software and information systems and software architects, software quality specialists, software testers for IT technology.

Applies knowledge of the fundamentals of economics, entrepreneurship, law, anti-corruption culture and financial literacy in professional activities

Shows social and civic responsibility in making decisions on the conservation and rational use of Kazakhstan's natural resources

Applies basic knowledge in the field of natural and engineering sciences, facts, phenomena, theories and complex dependencies, has the ability to build models of tasks using a logical or functional paradigm

Develops system software for solving engineering and technical problems using innovative software system design technologies

Demonstrates knowledge of modern trends in science and the methodological foundations of scientific research

Designs and configures computer networks and their security systems

He has knowledge and understanding of modern theory, advanced methods and technologies of software engineering, various tools for software development, databases and artificial intelligence systems, as well as applies methods of automatic perception and context analysis of smart devices, collective algorithms for data processing and action planning

To develop and apply mathematical methods, system and application software to solve the problems of scientific and design-technological activities in the tasks of data analysis and machine refinement

Uses computer technology in the development of high-performance, multimedia software applications deployed in the cloud

Demonstrates IT knowledge of the principles of building regulatory documents, acquisition of practical skills in developing regulatory documents necessary for software development in the field of parallel and distributed computing, and will also master the skills of developing, debugging, and researching the performance of parallel programs

Develops and applies a mathematical and computer model of software engineering in solving engineering and technical problems

Develops software for solving engineering and technical problems

Develops electronic, mechatronic, and robotic systems using the fundamentals of software engineering

Information and communication technologies

Design and Development Department:

  • defining design goals, performance criteria, and applicability constraints;
  • system analysis of the design object, subject area, and their relationships;
  • selecting source data for design;  
  • development of generalized options for solving the problem, analysis of these options, forecasting the consequences, finding compromise solutions in conditions of multi-criteria and uncertainty, project implementation planning;
  • assessment of reliability and quality of operation of the design object;
  • calculation of ensuring safe living conditions;
  • calculation of economic efficiency;
  • development, approval and release of all types of project documentation.

Production and technological infrastructure:

  • technology of development of objects of professional activity (information systems and networks, their mathematical, information and software, methods and methods of design, debugging, production and operation of software tools of information systems).

Organizational and managerial support:

  • organization of interaction between developer and customer teams, making managerial decisions in the face of different opinions;
  • finding a compromise between different requirements (cost, quality, deadlines) in both long-term and short-term planning, finding optimal solutions;
  • assessment of production and non-production costs for quality assurance of the design object;
  • organization of quality control of input information.

Scientific and research Organization:

  • study and analysis of scientific and technical information, domestic and world scientific achievements in research institutions, design and scientific production organizations.

Operational information:

  • organization of implementation of the design object in trial operation;
  • organization of implementation of the design object in commercial operation.
