Material and technical base

The department is equipped with modern specialized laboratories for conducting research in dyeing and finishing of textile materials, as well as designing knitted products.

The laboratories are furnished with equipment for liquid processing of textile materials, knitting machines, and devices for assessing material quality and structure, enabling high-level research and educational activities.

Laboratory Equipment Upgrade in 2025

In 2025, new equipment, measuring devices, raw materials, and auxiliary components were purchased to strengthen the laboratory infrastructure. The acquired facilities include:

  • Thickness gauge for measuring the thickness of thermal insulation materials used in construction
  • MT-580 automated fiber thickness measurement system
  • “Fibers” collection
  • Laboratory dyeing machine
  • Electronic pipettes with tip sets
  • Microscope glass slides
  • Universal indicator paper (pH 1–14)
  • MT-543 manual skein winder for determining linear density of sliver and roving
  • Additional laboratory tools (scissors, tweezers, etc.)

The modernization of the material and technical base expands research opportunities, enhances the educational process, and ensures training of specialists meeting modern textile industry requirements.
