1. Research Projects and Grant Funding

In 2025, the кафедра’s academic staff successfully passed competitive selection for research grant funding, confirming the high scientific potential and relevance of ongoing studies.

Within the “Zhas Galym” Young Scientists Grant Program for 2025–2028, the project
“Development of Technology for Producing Semi-Functional Textile Materials”
was approved.
Total funding — 30 million KZT.
Project leader — Yerengul Takey.

Additionally, under the Grant Funding Competition for Scientific and (or) Scientific-Technical Projects of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025–2027, the project
“Development of Technology for Producing New Textile Materials with Special Properties”
was awarded funding.
Total funding — 120 million KZT.
Project leader — Indira Mikhailovna Dzhurinskaya.

The implementation of these projects aims to advance innovative technologies in textile materials science and strengthen the research potential of the department.

2. Student Preparation for National Competitions and Olympiads

In 2025, the faculty staff actively prepared students for national scientific competitions and academic olympiads.

Under the supervision of Burkitbay A., Abishova A.S., Dyusenbieva K.Zh., Ormanova M.A., Altynbayeva A.T., students participated in the Republican Competition of Student Scientific Works, presenting 9 research projects.

Moreover, students of the department took part in the Republican Academic Olympiad, achieving 1st place, which demonstrates their high level of professional training.
