The ATU Inn educational restaurant and hotel complex hosted a theoretical round table

The ATU Inn educational restaurant and hotel complex hosted a theoretical round table and a master class within the framework of the project «Italian cuisine as an intangible cultural heritage: traditions, identity and UNESCO recognition».

The theoretical round table was attended by: Charge d'affaires of the Italian Embassy, Aniello Petito, Head of the Cultural Department of the UNESCO Regional Hub, Philippe Delange, Representative of the FFUN Foundation, Maurizio Aronica, Director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Almaty and Cultural Attache of the Italian Embassy, Edoardo Crisafulli, Management and teaching staff of the Department of Tourism and Service Maintenance" of the Faculty of Economics and Business. At the end of the round table, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between ATU and the Italian Institute of Culture in Almaty.

As part of the event, a master class was held by the chef of the Giardino restaurant, Fabrizio Fattucci, dedicated to the main ingredients of Italian cuisine. The famous Chef spoke about his professional experience in Almaty, where he has been living and working for 24 years, and about the active development of the restaurant business in our city.

The event is organized by the Department of Tourism and After-sales Service of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
