Academic mobility program "Erasmus+"

At ATU, according to the academic mobility program "Erasmus+", a staff training course was held from representatives of the Institute of Canning Technology and Food Quality (Bulgaria, Plovdiv): professor in the field of "Food technologies", scientific specialty "Technology of canned fruits and vegetables" Dr. Todorka Petrova, associate professor in the specialty "Food technologies", scientific specialty "Technology of tobacco and tobacco products", Dr. Violeta Nikolova and assistant professor in the specialty "Food technologies", scientific specialty "Technology of public catering", by Petya Trnenskaya

The main areas of study were:

  • The study of food technology
  • Familiarization with applied methods of food quality control
  • Familiarization with the methods of waste disposal of fruit and vegetable products
  • Introduction of modern technologies for the production of functional nutrition products for the prevention of various diseases and strengthening the protective functions of the body; technologies for creating new food products for different age groups of the population based on modern methods of food design.

During the training, meetings and exchange of experience with university researchers, joint discussion of research results and opportunities for further cooperation also took place.
