The Kazakh-Chinese Center for Scientific Research for Sustainable Development held its grand opening at ATU.

The grand opening of the «Kazakh-Chinese Center for Scientific Research for Sustainable Development» jointly with Henan University of Urban Construction (HUUC, Pingdingshan, China) took place in ATU.

ATU was visited by a delegation from the Henan University of Urban Construction (HUUC, Pingdingshan, China), led by Vice President, Professor Sun Yuzhou, to participate in the grand opening ceremony of the «Kazakh-Chinese Center for Scientific Research for Sustainable Development», established on the basis of an agreement between ATU and HUUC signed in June 2025 in Pingdingshan. 

ATU began cooperation with Henan University of Urban Construction (HUUC) in 2024 as part of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. This partnership provides for joint activities in the field of scientific research and academic interaction between academic staff and students. Currently, 3 ATU undergraduates are interning at HUUC, and further plans include the preparation of double degree programs for our students in the fields of information and communication technologies and biotechnology.
