Start up project «Zero Waste» is one of the Winners of the «START-UP ATU-2026» Competition

Start up project «Zero Waste» is one of the Winners of the «START-UP ATU-2026» Competition, the holder of a certificate in the amount of 500,000 tenge from the Philanthropist, Director of the company «BAL HALAL» @balhalal_foodex, Tazhibayeva Rimma Danabaevna.

The author of the project is a 4th-year student of the direction 6B07205 Technology and design of textile materials, Tanzhar Arai, Scientific supervisor – Candidate of Technical Sciences, assistant professor, lecturer at the Department of Textile Production Technology, Abishova Aigul Slanbekovna.

The aim of the project is to use resources efficiently and reduce textile waste. «Zero Waste» is an innovative approach to creating accessories from production residues and yarns that are usually recycled. Recycled materials gain a «second life» in the form of stylish and eco-friendly products. The mission of the project is to create a culture of conscious consumption, where waste becomes a resource and a source of inspiration.
