Completion of the International Internship at HTMi Switzerland

Students of the Kazakh-Swiss Institute of Tourism at ATU have completed an international educational internship at HTMi Switzerland, one of the leading institutes of hotel and tourism management in Europe.
During the internship, students studied current trends in the hospitality industry, attended classes on leadership, marketing of tourist destinations, event management, restaurant service and personal brand development. Practical classes in professional kitchens, master classes in culinary arts and working with wine culture gave special value to the program.
An important part of the internship was educational excursions to the Mandarin Oriental Luzern Hotel, visits to the famous Gruyère cheese factory and the famous Maison Cailler chocolate factory, as well as acquaintance with the tourist attractions of Lucerne, including the famous Lion Monument.
The acquired knowledge, practical skills and international experience will allow our students to take a fresh look at modern standards of the hotel business and strengthen their professional competencies.
The program ended with a solemn ceremony of awarding certificates confirming the successful completion of an internship at HTMi Switzerland.
