ATU was visited by a delegation of representatives of science and business of China

ATU has once again become a venue for an important international meeting. Our university was visited by a delegation of representatives of the leading specialized college, business and financial sector of the People's Republic of China.
The visit was aimed at strengthening academic ties, discussing joint educational projects and developing strategic partnerships within the framework of the global Belt and Road Initiative.
The delegation included representatives of the Shaanxi Vocational College of Finance and Economics: Rector, Mr. Cheng Shuqiang, Head of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation, Ms. Yang Hua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Accounting, Mr. He Shi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Financial Engineering and Modern Technology, Ms. Zhang Li, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Yang Guang and representatives of the business community and the financial sector: Head of the International Department of Xi'an Sanhao Company, Su Yuwei and Member of the Board of JSC "Commercial and Industrial Bank of China in Almaty" (ICBC Almaty), Mr. Yang Xiaoguang.
During the official talks, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the integration of modern education, science and the real sector of the economy. Special attention was paid to the creation of joint programs in the field of financial engineering, digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
The main outcome of the meeting was the signing of a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding, which laid a solid legal foundation for long-term cooperation. A landmark step in the implementation of this agreement will be the opening of a joint educational laboratory at the Faculty of Economics and Business of ATU.
The signed memorandum and the opening of a joint laboratory will give a powerful impetus to the development of academic mobility, double-degree education and the strengthening of friendly relations between Kazakhstan and China.
