Nursultan Orakbay, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Intelligent and Engineering Systems at Almaty Technological University, studying in the «Technological Machines and Equipment» educational programme, took part in an international esports tournament.

From September 14 to 28, 2026, the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) 2026 international tournament was held in the Republic of Uzbekistan, with Nursultan Zhenisuly participating in the competition.

The tournament brought together esports players from different countries and provided a platform for demonstrating a high level of gaming skills, quick decision-making, strategic thinking, and teamwork.

For the ATU student, participation in an international competition was an important experience that allowed him to develop his sporting skills, gain valuable competitive experience, and represent Kazakhstan on the international esports stage.

Almaty Technological University supports students in developing their abilities not only in education and research, but also in modern areas of sport, including esports.
