ATU student Dilnaz Bektayeva is among the winners of the international competition for young designers at EURASIAN FASHION WEEK

Congratulations on another fashion victory at one of the leading international catwalks – EURASIAN FASHION WEEK, Bektayeva Dilnaz, a student of the Faculty of Design, Textile and Clothing Technologies, Fashion Design direction! Dilnaz became one of the Winners of the international competition of young designers "FASHION FOR THE FUTURE", held as part of one of the mega events in the world of fashion and design - EURASIAN FASHION WEEK. Our student presented her collection "RE: ROOT" to the star jury of the competition, embodying the revival of national heritage with modern fashion. Dilnaz's mentor and supervisor during the creation of the project was Ulzhan Smilova, a lecturer at the Department of Design, assistant Professor, PhD. The main idea of the collection is to present the national heritage in a new form, combining traditional Kazakh elements of clothing and needlework techniques with current youth trends. Thanks to her well-deserved victory and Diploma, Dilnaz received the right to present her collection for free at EURASIAN FASHION WEEK in spring 2027!
