ATU Professor Awarded the Naila Bazanova Award

On the eve of International Women's Day, the Naila Bazanova Award, established for Kazakh women scientists, was presented to Maria Kalabayevna Alimardanova, a Kazakhstani scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, and academician of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Maria Kalabayevna Alimardanova is an outstanding scientist in the field of food and processing industry, a highly qualified specialist, and an experienced educator. Over the years, she has made significant contributions to the training of young scientists and specialists, as well as to the development of science and education. Her research focuses on food technology, food quality and safety, and the development of innovative food production technologies.

The ceremony was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by approximately 400 leading female scientists, research fellows, teachers, and heads of higher education institutions and research organizations who have made significant contributions to the development of national science.

According to the National Academy of Sciences, approximately 12,000 women researchers are engaged in scientific research in Kazakhstan, representing 56% of the country's total number of scientists.
