ATU is expanding its strategic partnership with leading universities of Azerbaijan.

Our university was visited by two delegations of leading universities of Azerbaijan at once:

The delegation of Sumgait State University consisting of: Rector, Professor, Aminag Sadigov, Vice-Rector for General Affairs, Emil Gasimov and Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Strategic Projects, Aysel Eminova.

The delegation of the Azerbaijan University of Technology consisted of the Rector, Yashar Omarov, and the Rector's Advisor on Strategic Development and Digitalization, Togrul Sadigov.

During the visit, the delegations held a meeting with the Management of ATU, Deans and Directors of departments of the University, where issues of academic mobility, the implementation of joint research projects, strengthening and developing further cooperation were discussed. The guests also had a guided tour of the Main Academic Building, during which they were able to get acquainted with the scientific and technical base of the university.

Following the meeting, the parties outlined a plan for the implementation of joint educational programs and scientific and technical initiatives that will give a new impetus to the development of the three leading technological universities in the region.
