ATU hosts the II stage of the XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad among university students of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The best students from all over the country take part in the Olympiad, demonstrating their knowledge and professional skills in key areas: 19 universities, 25 teams, 82 participants.

Competitions are held in key areas:

Food production — 12 teams, 40 participants

Textiles: clothing, shoes and leather goods — 6 teams, 18 participants

Chemical engineering and processes — 7 teams, 24 participants
