ATU hosted a crime prevention week within the framework of the implementation of the principle of «Law and Order»

As part of the implementation of the "Law and Order" principle, a Crime Prevention Week was held in ATU with the participation of employees of the structural divisions of the Almaty City Police Department and the Almaty City Department of Economic Investigations of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring.

During the week, information and explanatory meetings were held with students, during which issues of drug abuse prevention, cybersecurity, public order and personal safety, legal responsibility, financial literacy, and prevention of involvement in dropper schemes were discussed.

The events were attended by:

  • Police Lieutenant Colonel Temirbekov Bakhtiyar – Deputy Head of the Personnel Department;
  • Police Lieutenant Colonel Kobeyev Dauren – Senior operative for particularly important cases of the Department for Combating Drug Crime;
  • Senior Police Lieutenant Pasil Aybatyr– an operative of the Department for Combating Cybercrime;
  • Police Lieutenant Colonel Eleusizov Aitan – Deputy Head of the Public Security Department;
  • Myrzakhan Zhaksylyk – Special Operations Officer for particularly important cases of the Department of Economic Investigations for the city of Almaty of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring;
  • • Bildebaev Dulat – Senior operative of the Department of Economic Investigations in Almaty of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring.

During the meetings, students were able to ask specialists their questions and receive clarifications on issues of legal security, responsibility and the prevention of offenses.

The Crime Prevention Week contributed to the improvement of students' legal culture, the formation of safe behavior skills and the strengthening of preventive work to prevent offenses among young people.
