ATU expands international cooperation: A double-degree agreement was signed with Tongmyong University (Busan, South Korea)

ATU is expanding international cooperation. During the visit of the ATU delegation to South Korea, a double-degree agreement was signed with one of the leading universities, Tongmyong University (Busan, South Korea) in the field of K-Beauty.

During the First "Central Asia–Korea" Summit and the official visit of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev to the Republic of Korea (September 16-17, 2026), ATU reached important agreements in the field of international education.

Our university has signed an agreement with Tongmyong University to develop a joint double degree program in the field of "Technology of Perfumery and Cosmetics" (K-Beauty). Training model: "2 +2" training scheme — students study in Kazakhstan for the first 2 years at ATU, and the 3rd and 4th courses at Tongmyong University.

The partner university provides an exclusive discount on tuition fees in South Korea only for ATU students. Graduates of the program will receive two diplomas - ATU and TU (Tongmyong University).

The signing ceremony took place in Seoul at the Kazakh-Korean Round Table. The initiative was implemented with the official support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The signed Memorandum of Agreement on the implementation of the two-degree program between ATU and TU was included in the approved list of agreements prepared during the state visit of the President and a delegation of officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The signing of this document opens up unique prospects for ATU students to receive advanced international education and practical experience in South Korea, one of the leading countries in the global Beauty segment.
