Announcement of the competition for the academic mobility program funded by the ministry of science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Semester abroad”

JSC “Almaty Technological University”, in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 92 dated February 25, 2026 “On approval of the number of places for higher and (or) postgraduate education institutions for study abroad within the framework of academic mobility for 2026”, announces a call for applications from students (Bachelor’s degree) primarily studying under the state educational grant, and secondly those studying on a fee-paying basis, to participate in the competition for 10 (ten) available places for study abroad within the academic mobility program during the first semester of the 2026 - 2027 academic year at partner universities in European countries.

Main eligibility requirements:

1. GPA of 3.0 or higher;

2. Valid international language proficiency certificates (IELTS, TOEFL).

Eligible participants:

• 1st and 2nd year Bachelor’s degree students;
• 1st year Master’s degree students.

Expenses covered by the program:

• Round-trip airfare;
• Accommodation;
• Medical insurance;
• Visa support.
