An Agreement on the Establishment of the Joint Kazakhstan-China Laboratory «Silk Road: Digital and Intelligent Fashion» Has Been Signed
The creation of the Kazakh-Chinese Digital Fashion Laboratory at ATU is a new stage in the development of our university's international partnership.
The ATU delegation, consisting of vice-rector for academic affairs T.S. Kartbaev and director of the department of international cooperation, M.B. Aliarova, took part in the International Talent Academic and Industry Exchange Conference (Digital Fashion) in Hangzhou, China. Within the framework of the event, a meeting was held with the President of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (PRC), Chen Wenxing, Adviser to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ular Orazgaliyly Mukazhanov, Secretary General of the Kazakh-Chinese Association for Educational, Scientific and Technological Cooperation, Jialihasi Jiaerheng and representatives of leading specialized universities.
During the meeting, strategic directions for the development of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation in the field of higher education, science and innovation, prospects for the implementation of joint projects and the introduction of advanced technologies in educational and research activities were discussed.
The key result of the negotiations was the signing of an agreement on the establishment of a joint Kazakh-Chinese laboratory «Silk Road Digital and Intelligent Fashion» (China-Kazakhstan Silk Road Digital and Intelligent Fashion Joint Laboratory). The laboratory will become a platform for joint research and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies and digital solutions in the fashion industry.
As part of a separate working event, representatives of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and ATU discussed promising areas of interuniversity cooperation, the development of joint educational and scientific projects, as well as the expansion of academic ties.
The meetings open up new opportunities for strengthening ATU's international position, developing scientific and educational potential, and expanding cooperation with Chinese partners.
