Almaty Technological University became a full member of the Association of China-Central Asian Universities
Almaty Technological University became a full member of the Association of China-Central Asian Universities. The organization includes Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Hangzhou City, China, Tashkent Institute of Textiles and Light Industry (Republic of Uzbekistan), Tarim University, Aletai city, China, Namangan State Technical University (Republic of Uzbekistan), Samarkand State Architecture and Construction University (Republic of Uzbekistan), Uzbek Research Institute of Natural Fibers (Republic of Uzbekistan) and ATU (Kazakhstan).
The purpose of the association is to promote comprehensive cooperation between China and Central Asian countries in the fields of higher education, science and technology, textiles and materials.
Tasks assigned to the consortium:
- To jointly train and develop high-quality and internationally competitive textile professionals;
- Jointly conduct cutting-edge scientific research and technological development, and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements;
- To promote the exchange of students and teachers, as well as cultural mutual learning to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship;
- To contribute to the modernization of the regional textile industry and the economic and social development of the participating countries.
