A new stage in the development of the ECF "ATU Endowment"

ATU hosted a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the ATU Endowment Corporate Fund, dedicated to strategic changes in the fund's activities.

The Council includes new members — representatives of the business, professional and sports communities, as well as graduates of Almaty Technological University: Farhad Kuanganov, Chairman of the National Association of Endowment Funds of Kazakhstan; Ermakhan Ibraimov, Olympic Boxing Champion; Ulan Userbayev, Director of the Project Management Department of JSC SEC Almaty".

The key topic of the meeting was the fund's transition to a new business model in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on endowment capital. Special attention was paid to five strategic areas of ATU support: education, science and innovation, social and youth initiatives, infrastructural development, and strategic development of the university. The new model provides for the transition from one-time charitable assistance to the formation of sustainable endowment capital for the long-term support of the university.
