A meaningful meeting on explaining and promoting the values of the people's Constitution was held at Almaty Technological University.
The university hosted an intellectual and educational lecture dedicated to explaining the values of the new Constitution. The event focused on discussing the key provisions of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted at the national referendum on March 15, 2026. The event was organized by the Department of Youth Affairs and the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines.
The new Constitution was highlighted as an important strategic document defining a new stage in the country's development. The main goal of the event was to improve legal literacy among young people, provide a deeper understanding of the content and significance of the Constitution, and foster students’ sense of responsibility for the future of the country.
The keynote speaker was Alua Salamatkyzy Ibrayeva, Doctor of Law and Research Professor at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
In her speech, she emphasized the importance of improving legal awareness among youth, developing their civic engagement, and fostering respect for constitutional values. Special attention was given to the role of the Constitution in society and its importance in ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens.
During the discussion, it was noted that the new Constitution prioritizes the formation of a just society, strengthening the balance between branches of government, and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.
