A Guest Lecture on Future Professions in the Design Industry Was Held at ATU
A guest lecture by the Founder and Vice-President of the Association of Light Industry Enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan @aplp was held for students of the Faculty of Design, Textile and Clothing Technologies of ATU.kz, Member of the Association of Businesswomen of Kazakhstan, Member of the Regional Council of the Akimat of Almaty, Natalia Akhshabayeva on the topic "Atlas of professions of the future: the new role of a designer in the industry of Kazakhstan.
From creativity to technology, from ideas to economics." Natalia spoke about the formation and peculiarities of the light industry in Kazakhstan, about how the sphere is currently developing, about innovations, upcycling and technology transfer in the industry.
Our students also learned about the development of related areas of the industry, the use and advantages of digital fashion.
Natalia noted the growing trend in the number of ateliers, which is associated with fatigue from the mass market and consumers' desire for exclusivity, which significantly increases the need for qualified specialists.
Natalia emphasized the relevance of the professions of a designer and technologist in the modern economy.
