Department of Design together with the European Institute of Design (Italy, Como), according to the memorandum, continues cooperation on a joint educational program in the specialty "Design" (learning path «Fashion Design»).
As part of cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts. Aldo Galli (Italy, Como) together with KFW Astana held the International Competition “Fashionforfuture 2019”, at which the final qualifying work of Beketaev Nurdaulet – collection "Young" took second place, and the contestant received a grant to participate in AstanaFashionWeek for the Fall-Winter 2019-2020 season.
In May 2019, as part of the International Competition for Young Designers and Fashion Designers “Zhas” Orken 2019" An interview was organized with a representative of the Academy of Fine Arts. Aldo Galli of Ekaterina Antonova with 2nd year students studying English and Italian. Students also presented creative portfolios and examination papers in the disciplines: “Design methodology and collection methodology”, “Drawing methodology. Chromatology", "Digital Applications for Visual Arts". The students passed an interview and will continue their studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. Aldo Galli in 3rd and 4th years.
Cooperation continues with the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after. I. Razzakova, 5 students specializing in “Fashion Design” – Saparova S., Zholdybay B., Yandieva L., Bisenbaeva A., Tolekbaeva Zh. completed summer practical training at the KSTU named after I. Razzakova. Students of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after. I. Razzakova – Sultanalieva B., Abdieva A., Konurbaeva A., Niyazbekova B. arrived at ATU at the Department of Design. for summer practical training.
Students Gaidenreich M., Syzdykova G., Musa K., Iskakova A. completed academic mobility training at the International Design College of Shanghai Jian Qiao University (Shanghai, China) during the second semester of the 2018-2019 academic year.
Also as part of the implementation of academic mobility on the basis of the Department of Design in the second semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, a student of the Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata (Kyzylorda) studied – Tazhibay A.
Work towards internal and external academic mobility programs is ongoing. Students are sent to Aktobe Regional University for internal academic mobility. Zhubanova, JSC Kazakh University of Technology and Business, Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata, International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi.
Students of the educational program "Design" exchange Intermark International Design College of Shanghai Jian Qiao University (Shanghai, China), Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) on external academic mobility.
