Goal EP

Training of highly qualified and competitive designers for the fashion industry, with professional competencies, able to adapt to dynamic changes and fashion trends.

 

The formed educational outcomes

  • Demonstrates knowledge in the field of social sciences, humanities, information sciences, forming a personality with a broad outlook, a culture of thinking and academic integrity.
  • Applies knowledge of the fundamentals of economics, entrepreneurship, law, anticorruption culture and financial literacy in professional activities.
  • Has communication skills in the state, Russian and foreign languages in his professional activities.
  • Uses modern information and communication technologies in professional and scientific activities.
  • Uses digital technologies taking into account the use of artificial intelligence, three-dimensional modeling in the process of creating fashion and textile products, and visualization of concept ideas.
  • Creates sketches, compositions of objects of fashion and textile design, taking into account artistic, visual, coloristic features, patterns, means and techniques of drawing.
  • Develops conceptual ideas of design objects based on an understanding of historical, social, cultural, economic and environmental factors.
  • Develops design projects in the field of fashion and textiles, generating ideas for the implementation of creative concepts of various «art systems», taking into account national culture, fashion trends and design solutions.
  • Possesses teamwork skills in management, planning, positioning strategy development, target segment identification, branding, implementation, and promotion of design products and art objects.
  • Creates author's designs of engineering objects by developing the design and technological process of the projected product, taking into account the features and properties of modern textile materials.
  • Analyzes contemporary trends in fashion and textiles, applying methods of visual and sociocultural analysis to create relevant design solutions.
  • Applies sustainable design methods, taking into account environmental, ethical, and resource-efficient principles at all stages of fashion and textile product design and production.

Types of professional activity

Project-based: research and analysis of the fashion and textile market, concept development and design of products in the fashion and textile industry, supervision of the production process, sample modification, brand development and promotion, product presentation, participation in and organization of fashion shows.

Organizational and managerial: management of design projects (coordination, planning, and control of the implementation process), resource and supply management, management of model creation and production processes in the fashion and textile industry, branding, positioning, and promotion.
