To prepare highly qualified specialists for the energy industry with professional skills in ICT, design and management of energy systems, as well as social competencies necessary for successful work in a modern technological and social context.

  • Has a basic knowledge of natural and engineering sciences, applying facts, phenomena, theories and complex relationships in professional workareas,
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the operating principles, rules of use, design characteristics of nanomaterials and the application areas of traditional and renewable energy sources.
  • Performs necessary calculations of electrical circuits of analog and digital electronic devices, electrical machines and microprocessor systems.
  • Applies practical skills in algorithms, programming, Internet of Things (IoT) technology and artificial intelligence to manage and monitor energy infrastructure.
  • Masteringmodeling and simulation methods for the analysis and optimization of energy systems and power plants using modern software tools and technologies.
  • Has knowledge of design, calculation and regulation methods for energy production and distribution systems, using information and smart technologies to solve engineering problems.
  • Apply in practice knowledge on the implementation of automation systems and control and measuring instruments in the digitalization of energy, taking into account the principles of relay protection and the specifics of power supply to enterprises.
  • Provides technical operation, adjustment, configuration and experimental testing of engineering equipment and smart systems at production facilities to maintain their optimal modes in accordance with design and technical documentation.
  • Defines production tasks using technical and economic analysis of the activities of energy enterprises for a comprehensive justification of management decisions and evaluation of results.
