State support for youth
Youth practice: Rules for the organization of subsidized jobs and subsidizing wages of persons employed in subsidized jobs.
Order of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 30, 2023 No. 275. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 30, 2023 No. 32959.
It is designed specifically for unemployed graduates of universities and vocational schools in their profession (specialty), who completed their studies during the previous 3 years, and are not older than 29 years old.
The duration of youth practice is no more than 12 months. The amount of the subsidy per month is 30 MCI. At the initiative of the employer, if a vacancy arises and with the consent of a participant in the youth practice, employment for a permanent job is allowed.
Where to apply: to the labor mobility center at the place of residence. What documents are needed: an identity document; a document confirming employment (if available), a copy of the diploma of education (certificate, certificate, diploma); a document confirming the availability of special knowledge or professional training (if available).

«CHOOSE YOUR PATH!»
On October 9, 2024, the annual "Choose Your Path!" Job Fair took place at Almaty Technological University. This large-scale event brought together leading companies and organizations offering students opportunities for employment and internships. Attendees had the chance to learn about the employers' requirements, ask questions, and establish their first professional contacts.
A special focus was placed on professional development. Six companies, including ТОО “Prosto Back-Office,” ТОО “Endeavour,” ТОО “MAK Russell Bedford A+ Partners,” ТОО “PROFEXPERT,” ТОО “Danone Berkut,” and ТОО “Bijan Meat Processing Plant,” conducted workshops. These sessions helped students better understand the labor market's requirements and prepare for job searches and successful interviews.

On October 13, 2023, the annual Job Fair “Choose your way!” was held at Almaty Technological University. Various companies and organizations were represented at the fair, which actively offered their vacancies and internships for students. Students had the opportunity to get information about each company, get acquainted with the requirements for candidates and ask questions to representatives of companies. In addition, various master classes were held at the fair from 8 companies, such as Chai’la Group, AF JSC IP “Efes Kazakhstan”, LLP “CIS market”, Confectionery company “Qulpynai bakery”, JSC “Bank RBK”, LLP “Kamerir”, LLP “Telecontact”, LLP “Just a Back Office”, which helped students develop their professional skills and learn more about the requirements of the labor market. JSC “ATU” is pleased to share information about the past annual job fair “Choose Your Path!”, which took place on April 28, 2023 at the Almaty Technological University. This event has become one of the most effective ways of cooperation between the university and employers.
The job fair provided an opportunity for employers to select the most suitable young professionals in advance and comprehensively assess their potential before providing jobs. The students, in turn, learned about the demand for their chosen specialties in the labor market and about the vacancies that employers are ready to offer this year.

Within the framework of the job fair, a survey of employers was conducted in order to monitor the compliance of graduates of JSC “ATU” with the requirements of the labor market. In general, the survey showed a positive assessment of employers of the quality of training of our graduates and readiness for further cooperation.
During the job fair, employers had the opportunity to interview graduates, form a personnel reserve for their enterprises, and students were able to get acquainted with the requirements of employers for young professionals and submit their resumes.
