Center for Technology Transfer, Education and Entrepreneurship

The Center for Transfer of Technology, Education and Entrepreneurship was created in 2021 on the basis of a Memorandum between the Almaty Technological University and the GIZ organization (German Society for International Cooperation), with the aim of strengthening partnerships in the field of improving the quality of higher education and entrepreneurship development.

The Center acts as a link between research, educational institutions, the business sector, and government agencies to transfer technology, develop education and stimulate entrepreneurship. It also connects similar Centers in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

The centers operate the platform from three countries:

• Organization and promotion of master classes on food production technology for students, college teachers and representatives of private companies through the developed website and Instagram.
• Development of technologies for food waste processing.
• Fundraising for development and laboratory research.
• Marketing promotion of selected projects on the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the Central Asian Technology Transfer Network.
• Process data at the request of enterprises to create technologies or modernize existing work processes.
• Publication of requests for technology from industrial enterprises.
• Publication of proposals for technologies, patents, projects of universities and developers.
• Process data at the request of enterprises to create technologies or modernize existing work processes.

Additionally, we offer interested parties the opportunity to utilize the capabilities of the internet platform:

• Placing information to search for a potential client;
• Promotion of technologies in the countries of project participants;
• Possibility of technology transfer from participating countries to Kazakhstan;
• Placement of advertisements for manufacturers in countries participating in the project.
