Since 2014, a joint Kazakh-Swiss program — double-degree education has been implemented. Almaty Technological University and the International Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management — HTMi, Switzerland for training personnel for the following industries: tourism, catering and hospitality, as well as event management.
The purpose of the program is to train professionals with modern knowledge and practical skills in the field of tourism, restaurant and hotel business management, competitive in the Kazakh and foreign labor markets.
Upon successful completion, the graduate of the program is awarded: a diploma from the International Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management — HTMi, Switzerland and a diploma from the ATU of the state sample of the Republic of Kazakhstan on awarding an academic bachelor's degree.
