Scientific activity

Scientific activity of the teaching staff of the department "Economics and Management":

- Teachers regularly publish research articles in scientific journals recommended by the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international journals included in the databases SCOPUS, Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

Teachers are engaged in the development and implementation of research projects funded by public and private grants, as well as on an initiative basis.

Teachers of the department carry out initiative topics of research work, so for 2022-2024 were registered 2 topics

in NC STE:

  1. Prospects of development of internal and external market of milk and dairy products, № 0122RKI0053, scientific supervisor: Dr. PhD, associated professor Sakhanova G.B.
  2. Development of the project of creation of mini-plants on processing of vegetables, № 0122RKI0056, scientific supervisor: Dr. Ph.D., Senior Lecturer BAYAKHMETOV T.B.

Department of "E&M" participating in the competition of grant research works of ATU for 2023-2025. performs research on the theme: "The market of milk and dairy products: current state, development trends and prospects".

Research activity of students of the department "Economics and Management" is an important component of their academic development. It is aimed at the formation of a scientific approach to the discipline, the development of critical thinking and practical skills in the field of management, economics and GIMU.

Research activity of the students of the department consists of the following:

  • under the guidance of experienced teachers, students develop research projects analyzing current problems and trends in economics;
  • students present the results of their research at various scientific platforms, both at the university level and at the regional and international levels;
  • active participation of students in publishing their works in student and professional journals is supported;
  • the department has student scientific communities where current issues are discussed, seminars and master classes are organized;
  • students participate in scientific competitions at various levels, from the university competition "StartUp ATU" to international competitions.
