Practice and employment

Professional practice is a mandatory component of the educational training program. Students are sent to practice within the time limits established by the educational program and academic calendar.

Internship programs are developed taking into account the profile of the EP, the nature of the enterprise, institution, and organization that is the object of the internship. The professional practice program is coordinated with enterprises (institutions, organizations) defined as practice bases and approved by the head of the educational institution. In accordance with the «Rules for the organization of dual training», approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 21, 2016 No. 50, the department provides theoretical training at the university and industrial training at enterprises. This is achieved by increasing the practical component of the educational process and conducting classes directly at the workplace. Thanks to the increasing role of practical training, future specialists master production skills at the training stage.

Partner companies in personnel training are well-known leading enterprises in the country: KhBK AKSAI LLP, KhBK Almatynan LLP, Branch of Petropavlovsk Bakery Plant LLP, Becker and K LLP, Coca-Cola Kazakhstan, PEPSI Kazakhstan GALANZ bottlers LLP, Talgar-Spirt LLP, Carlsberg Kazakhstan LLP, Vympel Group LLP, Turgen Wines, Efes Brewing Company JSC, Asia Agro Food JSC.

The department conducts joint research work with leading specialized departments of the Moscow State University of Food Production, Odessa National Academy of Food Technology, Kyiv National Technological University, Osh Technological University, Taraz State University named after. M.H. Dulati, Pavlodar State University named after. S. Toraigyrova, South Kazakhstan State University named after M.O.Auezov and others.

Graduates of the department of «Bread Products and Processing Technologies» successfully work as managers and specialists of large, medium and small enterprises in the food and processing industry, are engaged in scientific and teaching activities, master innovative technologies in practice, develop and introduce into production competitive food products of the new generation.
