Department of Automation and Robotics

The Department of Automation and Robotics was formed in 1957. At different periods, the department was headed by professors Nurakhmetov Bauyrzhan Kumargalievich, Tusupov Amangeldy Tusupovich, Abdrakhimov Ural Tutkabaevich, associate professors Yamshchikov Igor Nikolaevich, Tsunvaza Hakim Yusupovich, Kostyuchenko Vladimir Mikhailovich, Karymsakov Kamalkhan Uvalievich, Erzhanov Nurlan Maulenovich. Aimurzaev Amangeldy Tuktybaevich, Abduraimov Yeraly Ertaevich, Saidenova Firuza Abdullaevna made a great contribution to the formation and development of the department.

From 2018 to 2021, the department was headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Seitkulov Abdumalik Rakhimovich, under him the department received a new name - «Automation and Robotics».

From September 2022 to the present, the department is headed by Senior Lecturer, PhD Togzhanova K.O.

The work of the department is aimed at the theoretical and practical training of bachelors with professional knowledge, skills and abilities in general technical disciplines, in accordance with the requirements of generally mandatory standards of higher professional education in the field of engineering and technology.
