The Department of Design is a structural subdivision of the Faculty of Light Industry and Design. Training of specialists in EP 5B042100 - “Design” began at the Almaty University of Technology and Business at ATU using the traditional education system. Since 2007, specialists have been trained at the Almaty Technological University in the specialty 5B042100 - “Design”.
The Department of Design of the Faculty of Light Industry and Design issues OP 5B042100 – “Design” for students. At the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year, the student population for OP 5B042100 - “Design” is 220 people.
