Erasmus+
For more than 25 years, Europe has sponsored the ERASMUS program, which has allowed more than three million European students to spend part of their studies at universities in other European countries. ERASMUS+ opens up these opportunities for students and university staff in other parts of the world.
According to the international credit mobility program, the partner university can send its students, PhD candidates, or staff to another partner university from the list of program countries, and vice versa. Students have the opportunity to study abroad for a limited period of time (from 3 to 12 months). After the mobility phase, the student returns to his university to complete his studies.
Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program, Almaty Technological University has signed interinstitutional agreements with universities such as Metropolitan University, Budapest, Hungary and many other universities in Europe.

The Hungarian government established The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program back in 2013. The purpose of the program is to attract foreign students to study at Hungarian higher education institutions and to encourage Hungarian universities to accept talented foreign students. Currently, 41 universities in the country are participating in the scholarship program.
The scholarship program is designed for undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and preparatory and specialized courses (programs whose students do not receive a degree at the end of the program). Both full-time and part-time students can also count on a scholarship.
The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program operates through an agreement and cooperation between the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary and the Ministry of Higher Education. And a candidate will be able to receive a scholarship only if his candidacy has been approved by one of the authorized partner bodies of the program. The candidate must be a representative of the countries that participate in the program.
Applicants who live in Hungary or have dual citizenship cannot apply for the scholarship; as well as those who apply for re-participation in the scholarship program.
