A summer school for students and undergraduates in the fields of food production, light industry, hospitality and tourism, engineering and information technology is held on the basis of ATU. The purpose of the event is to get acquainted with the latest achievements and technologies in these industries, to familiarize with advanced methods of management and labor organization. Students will gain practical skills in such subjects as technology of meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, processing industries, catering and hospitality, fashion design, textile materials and decoration, technological machines and equipment. The duration of the program is 5 days (30 hours).
Following the results of the summer school, participants are given a certificate.
In order to implement the mechanism of internationalization, as well as the development of academic mobility, Almaty Technological University announces the holding of the "International Summer University of ATU – 2023" for students, young scientists and teachers in the fields of food production, light industry, economics, business, hospitality and tourism, engineering and information technology. The purpose of the event is to familiarize with innovative technologies in these industries. Participants of the international Summer University will receive practical skills and useful master classes from leading manufacturers of the above-mentioned industries. Foreign lecturers have been involved in the organization of the summer university to conduct lectures and practical classes. Students of the ATU – 2023 International Summer University can participate in the traditional format, as well as online using distance learning technologies based on the ZOOM platform. The period of the summer university is from May 29 to June 02, 2023. All programs of the International Summer University.

The language of instruction of the summer university is Russian, English (level from pre-intermediate and above). Following the results of the summer university, participants are awarded a certificate for 144 hours for young teachers, 2 ECTS credits for students. В целях реализации механизма интеранционализации, а также развития академической мобильности Алматинский технологический университет сообщает о проведении «Международной летней школы АТУ – 2021» для обучающихся и молодых преподавателей по направлениям пищевых производств, легкой промышленности, индустрии гостеприимства и туризма, инжиниринга и информационных технологий.
Целью мероприятия является ознакомление с последними достижениями и технологиями в данных отраслях, с передовыми методами менеджмента и организации труда. Участники международной летней школы получат практические навыки и полезные мастер классы от ведущих производителей вышеуказанных отраслей на основе дистанционных технологий обучения.
К организации летней школы привлечены зарубежные лектора для проведения лекционных и практических занятий: проф.А.Смрикаров – координатор виртуального университета Русенского университета (Болгария), Торстен Кеслер – лектор DAAD в РК (Германия), проф. Барбаро Карминэ – президент комитета «Данте Алигъери», ген. директор образовательного центра «ИТАЛИЯ» (Италия).
