Generated learning outcomes
- Applies the basic laws of natural sciences, methods of mathematical analysis and modeling, when solving professional problems in the field of light industry
- Demonstrates knowledge of physical and chemical methods for solving applied problems in the field of chemical technology of light and textile industry
- Performs independently setting and solving coloristic tasks, transforms and stylizes forms into decorative compositions
- Analyzes the state and dynamics of quality indicators of materials, light industry products and typology of figures using scientific research methods
- They will apply knowledge of scientific research methods and academic writing in the professional activity of light industry, collect and interpret information for the formation of judgments, adhering to the principles of the culture of academic honesty, scientific ethics
- Manages ensuring the safety of life, labor protection standards at light industry enterprises and environmental cleanliness of production

- Applies skills in management, organization and planning of assortment, quality, services, defect and monitors the quality of products manufactured by enterprises
Design, production, innovation activities aimed at creating competitive products of light industry and fashion industry (clothing, footwear, fur and leather products), and providing the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan with competitive products
Construction of light industry products:
– creation of sketches of artistic and constructive solutions for light industry products based on a promising fashion trend or creative source;
– development of a confection card based on the selection of fabrics and applied materials according to the sketch of the model;
– execution of the technical drawing of the model;
– development of drawings of basic structures of light industry products by manual methods and using CAD according to various design methods;
– implementation of constructive modeling of light industry products using manual and computer-aided design;
– creation of types of patterns (templates) and implementation of their gradation, development of a report card of measures using manual and computer-aided design;
– implementation of the author’s supervision over the implementation of design solutions at each stage of the production of light industry products.
Preparation and organization of technological processes at light industry enterprises:
– designing of a sewing enterprise;
– selection of rational methods of technology and technological modes of production of light industry products;
– preparation of the technological sequence and the scheme of division of labor for the launched model in accordance with regulatory documents;
– implementation of economical layout patterns (templates) using computer-aided design;
– implementation of technical quality control of manufactured products;
– preparation, planning and effective management of technological processes for the production of clothing, footwear, leather, fur and leather goods for various purposes.
Sewing products, footwear, leather, fur, leather goods, design and modeling processes, as well as technological processes for the production of light industry products using computer technology;
-regulatory and technical documentation and standardization systems, methods and means of testing, quality control of materials and light industry products.
