The Department “Design” is a structural subdivision Of the faculty of light industry and design. Training of specialists in OP 5B042100 – “Design” began at Almaty University of Technology and Business at ATU on the traditional system of training.
Since 2007, training is carried out in Almaty technological University, specialty 5B042100 – “Design”. Department “Design” of the faculty of light industry and design is producing for students OP 5B042100 – “Design”. In beginning 2020-2021 of studying year main quantity of students is 220 persons. Training of specialists is carried out on two trajectories of training:
– «Costume Design»
– «Graphic Design»
Concerning with the transition on international education system in accordance with the Bologna agreement, the Department let out since 2010 on this education program bachelor of arts.
