The Hong Kong Research Grants Council launches the fifteenth round of the PhD Fellowship Programme in Hong Kong (the “Programme”) for the academic year 2024/25. The Programme aims to attract top international students to pursue PhD degrees at 8 world-class universities in Hong Kong. It also provides a monthly stipend of HK$27,600 (approximately US$3,530) and conference and research related travel expenses of HK$13,800 (approximately US$1,760) per year for three years. 300 scholarships will be available for doctoral studies starting from the academic year 2024/25. Applications will be accepted from 1 September 2023 to 1 December 2023 (from 12:00 noon Hong Kong time (GMT + 8 hours)).
